Joint Base Andrews, home of Air Force One, recently hosted a major STEM Fair and Aviation Career Expo. The event, organized by the 316th Wing, aimed to inspire young people to pursue careers in aviation and technology. Over 50 organizations, including NASA, the Federal Aviation Administration, and major airlines, participated. Attendees engaged with interactive exhibits, flight simulators, and various aircraft displays. The initiative is part of a broader effort to address the national pilot shortage and build a diverse future workforce for both military and civilian aviation sectors.
