Joby Aviation to Build First Scaled eVTOL Production Facility in Fort Worth, Texas

Joby Aviation has announced its selection of Fort Worth, Texas, for its first scaled aircraft production facility. The company plans to build the manufacturing plant at the Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. This new facility represents an investment of up to $500 million and is expected to create over 2,000 jobs. Once operational, the site is designed to produce up to 500 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft per year. This development is a critical step in Joby's plan to launch commercial passenger services beginning in 2025.
