Joby Aviation Commences eVTOL Demonstration Flights at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport

Joby Aviation has launched demonstration flights of its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. This marks the first time the company has operated its innovative air taxi in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The flights are part of a multi-year partnership with DFW Airport to showcase the technology to local officials and partners like Delta Air Lines. Joby plans to establish a commercial passenger service in the area, which could drastically reduce travel times. The company estimates a trip from Downtown Dallas to DFW Airport could take as little as 10 minutes.
