Joby Aviation and Oklahoma Partner to Launch Statewide Air Taxi and Cargo Network
Joby Aviation has announced a major partnership with the state of Oklahoma to build a comprehensive advanced air mobility (AAM) ecosystem. The collaboration aims to bring Joby's electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to the state for both passenger air taxi and cargo delivery services. Oklahoma will invest in developing the necessary infrastructure, including vertiports, and support the creation of training programs for pilots and technicians. This initiative is expected to generate over 2,000 jobs and position the state as a leader in the future of aerial transportation.
