JetBlue's Emptiest Routes Revealed, With One Flight Only 29% Full
An analysis of U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics data for October 2023 has identified JetBlue's ten routes with the lowest passenger load factors. The service between Fort Lauderdale and Guayaquil, Ecuador, was the worst performer, with an average load factor of just 29%. Many of the underperforming routes originate from the airline's hubs in Fort Lauderdale and Boston. These flights, primarily international leisure destinations, stand in stark contrast to JetBlue's most popular routes, which often exceed 95% capacity. The data highlights significant challenges in filling seats on specific long-haul services within the airline's network.
