JetBlue Inspires Next Generation of Female Aviators with Annual 'Fly Like a Girl' Program
JetBlue recently hosted its annual "Fly Like a Girl" event at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to inspire young women to pursue careers in aviation. The program welcomed around 100 girls between the ages of 8 and 14. Participants had the opportunity to interact with an all-female flight crew, including pilots, technicians, and ground staff. The event included a tour of a JetBlue Airbus A320, where the girls learned about aircraft operations and various roles within the industry. This initiative is designed to address the significant gender gap in aviation and encourage more women to enter the field.
