Jet2 Expands Fleet with Multi-Billion Dollar Airbus Aircraft Order
British airline and holiday company Jet2 has placed a firm order for 35 new Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The deal is valued at approximately $3.9 billion at list prices, though airlines typically receive significant discounts. This new purchase brings Jet2's total firm orders for the aircraft type to 98, with options to extend this to 146 jets. The new, more fuel-efficient planes are scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2031, supporting the airline's growth and fleet modernization.
