Jersey Airport to Close Runway for Four Days in 2025 for Essential Repairs
Jersey Airport has announced a full four-day runway closure scheduled for May 2025 to carry out essential maintenance. The shutdown, from May 13th to 16th, is required for resurfacing works and upgrading the airfield's electrical systems. This marks the first complete closure of the runway in over two decades. The project is part of a larger £15m investment to ensure the long-term safety and integrity of the airport's infrastructure. Ports of Jersey has coordinated with airlines to minimize disruption to passengers during this period.
