Archer Aviation is advancing its 'Midnight' electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, a vehicle designed to revolutionize urban transportation. Founder and CEO Adam Goldstein detailed the aircraft's development, which aims to provide a safe, quiet, and sustainable alternative to ground travel. The Midnight is engineered to carry four passengers and a pilot on repeated 20-mile trips. Its operational model is based on a rapid 10-minute charging time between flights to ensure high-frequency service. Developed in partnership with automotive manufacturer Stellantis, Archer is targeting a commercial service launch in 2025.
