India Advances Development of AMCA Fifth-Generation Stealth Fighter
India's ambitious program to develop the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) is moving forward. This twin-engine, fifth-generation stealth fighter is being designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) for the Indian Air Force and Navy. The aircraft is intended to have advanced features including supercruise, a diverterless supersonic inlet, and a low radar cross-section. The AMCA represents a major leap in India's indigenous aerospace capabilities, aiming to provide a state-of-the-art multirole combat platform. It is slated to be manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and will enhance the nation's air superiority.
