Hollywood Burbank Airport's New $1.2 Billion Terminal Set for Fall 2024 Opening
Hollywood Burbank Airport is on schedule to debut its new $1.2 billion passenger terminal in the second half of 2024. The 355,000-square-foot facility, named 'Elevate BUR,' will feature 14 gates and significantly enhanced passenger amenities. This modern terminal replaces the airport's current 94-year-old building, which no longer meets updated FAA safety and seismic standards. Positioned on the northeast side of the airfield, it provides greater separation between the terminal and runways. The project aims to improve operational efficiency, accessibility, and the overall passenger experience with new concessions and baggage systems.
