Hensoldt Acquires Nedinsco to Bolster Sensor and Optical Systems Portfolio
German sensor solutions provider Hensoldt has announced its acquisition of the Dutch company Nedinsco. This strategic move aims to enhance Hensoldt's product portfolio in high-end cameras and sensor systems for military applications. Nedinsco specializes in advanced optical solutions, including day and night vision systems for periscopes and weapon stations. The acquisition, valued between €60 million and €70 million, will expand Hensoldt's market presence in the land and maritime domains. The deal is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
