Helicopter Recovers Wreckage from Fatal Plane Crash Near Seldovia, Alaska

Recovery operations have retrieved the wreckage of a plane involved in a fatal crash near Seldovia, Alaska. A helicopter lifted the remnants of the Piper PA-18 Super Cub from Kasitsna Bay on Thursday. The crash, which occurred last week, resulted in the death of the pilot, 67-year-old Clark Jones. The recovered aircraft will now be transported to a National Transportation Safety Board facility in Wasilla for examination. The NTSB investigation aims to determine the cause of the fatal incident.
