Heathrow Passenger Numbers Rise as New York Ranks as Top Destination
London Heathrow has revealed its most popular flight destinations, with New York's JFK Airport leading as the top long-haul route. In April, the airport handled 7.2 million passengers, marking a 4.8% increase compared to the same month last year. Dubai was also a premier international destination, while Dublin, Amsterdam, and Edinburgh were the most frequented short-haul routes. The data also indicated significant growth in the Asia Pacific market, with both Delhi and Mumbai securing spots in the top 10. This surge in traffic highlights a strong recovery and growing demand for international travel.
