Heathrow Airport Reports Record-Breaking February with 6.7 Million Passengers
London's Heathrow Airport has reported its busiest February on record, handling 6.7 million passengers. This figure marks a 9% increase compared to the same month last year. The surge in travel was significantly boosted by the Lunar New Year and the half-term school holidays. The most popular destinations for travelers during the month were New York, Dubai, and Madrid. Alongside passenger growth, cargo volumes also saw a substantial 21% increase, particularly on routes to North America.
