Heart Aerospace's All-Electric X1 Demonstrator Completes Successful Maiden Flight
Swedish company Heart Aerospace has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing the first flight of its X1 all-electric aircraft prototype. The full-scale demonstrator flew for ten minutes, marking a critical step in the development of sustainable aviation technology. The X1 serves as a testbed for the company's larger, 30-seat ES-30 hybrid-electric regional aircraft. This successful test validates key components of Heart's battery system and flight control technology. The company is now on track to pursue certification for the ES-30, which it aims to bring into service by 2028.
