Hactl Wins TIACA Sustainability Award for Circular Cargo Packaging Initiative
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has won the prestigious TIACA Sustainability Award in the Corporate category. The award recognizes Hactl's innovative 'Green Pallet Wrap' system, a circular economy solution for single-use plastic pallet wrap. This initiative involves collecting used plastic wrap from Hactl's SuperTerminal 1 and recycling it into new wrap for reuse. The system successfully creates a closed-loop process, significantly reducing plastic waste in the air cargo industry. The award was presented during the TIACA Executive Summit held in Brussels.
