H2FLY's HY4 Hydrogen-Electric Aircraft Achieves Milestone with Successful First Taxi Tests

The H2FLY HY4, a four-seater hydrogen-electric aircraft, has successfully completed its first taxi tests at Maribor Airport in Slovenia. These ground trials confirmed the full functionality and maneuverability of the aircraft's systems. This milestone is a key part of the European MAHEPA project, which aims to advance modular hybrid-electric propulsion for aviation. The project, involving partners like Pipistrel Vertical Solutions and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), is a significant step forward for zero-emission flight. The successful tests now pave the way for the HY4's first flight.
