Global Business Aviation Infrastructure Expands With New FBOs, Hangars, and MRO Facilities
The business aviation sector is witnessing significant infrastructure growth across the globe. In the United States, Modern Aviation has opened a new 10,000-sq.-ft. FBO terminal at Des Moines International Airport, while GlobalSelect is building a new 48,000-sq.-ft. hangar at Sugar Land Regional Airport. Internationally, Hawker Pacific is expanding its MRO facility in Cairns, Australia, to accommodate larger-cabin jets like the Gulfstream G650. Signature Aviation is also upgrading its FBO at Birmingham, UK, with a new terminal and hangar space. Finally, Jetex has been named the official FBO and ground handler for the expanding Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.
