The surge is primarily driven by strong e-commerce demand from key Asian hubs like Hong Kong and South China. Furthermore, ongoing disruptions, including the Red Sea crisis and recent flooding in Dubai, are constraining capacity and pushing more cargo from sea to air. As a result, major trade lanes from Asia to North America and Europe are seeing the most substantial rate hikes.
