According to the latest data from WorldACD, the global air cargo market has stabilized in the last two weeks of May. Both worldwide tonnages and average rates remained flat during this period, following previous weeks of fluctuation. The average global rate held steady at $2.26 per kilogram. While the market has stabilized recently, it continues to show strong year-on-year growth, with total tonnages up by 11% compared to the same period in the previous year. Key regional growth was observed in traffic from the Middle East & South Asia to Europe, as well as from Europe to North America.
