This growth occurred despite a notable 5% drop in tonnage from the Middle East & South Asia to Europe, a key lane affected by the Red Sea shipping crisis. While that specific sea-air route has cooled, other major lanes showed robust performance, with Asia Pacific to Europe demand rising by 10%. Overall worldwide tonnage also increased by 1% compared to April, indicating sustained market strength. Average global rates saw a slight increase, driven by strong demand from Asia Pacific and the Americas.
