Glasgow Prestwick and Air China Cargo Mark One-Year Anniversary of Direct Freighter Service
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is celebrating the first anniversary of its direct cargo service with Air China Cargo. This partnership established Scotland's first dedicated main deck freighter connection to China. In its inaugural year, the Boeing 777 service has successfully transported over 10,000 tonnes of freight. The route facilitates the export of key Scottish products like salmon and supports the import of e-commerce goods, significantly strengthening international trade links.
