Gama Aviation Secures Seven-Year Contract for Scottish Air Ambulance Service
Gama Aviation has been awarded a new seven-year contract to operate the air ambulance service for north-east Scotland, Orkney, and Shetland. The service, managed by the Scottish Ambulance Service, will be based at Aberdeen International Airport. Operations will utilize two King Air B200C aircraft for critical medical transport. Gama Aviation is taking over the contract from Babcock, which had been operating the service as a subcontractor since 2020. The transition is scheduled to be completed by July 1st.
