Fresno Pilot Dies Days After Experimental Plane Crash at Sierra Sky Park
The pilot injured in a June 9th plane crash at Fresno's Sierra Sky Park has died. He was identified as Mark Poet, the husband of Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea. Poet was flying a single-engine experimental aircraft which crashed shortly after takeoff. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Perea confirmed her husband's death in a public statement, remembering his passion for aviation.
