French Investigators Probe Fatal Skydiving Plane Crash That Killed 11
An investigation is underway in southern France after a skydiving plane crashed, killing the pilot and ten parachutists. The aircraft, a Pilatus PC-6 Porter, went down in a vineyard near the village of Vingrau shortly after takeoff. Upon impact, the plane immediately caught fire, leaving no survivors. According to witness reports, one of the plane's wings may have broken off while it was in the air. France's aviation accident investigation authority has opened a probe to determine the cause of the tragedy.
