Frankfurt Cargo Services Quadruples Pharmaceutical Handling Space with New Pharma Center
Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) has officially opened its new state-of-the-art pharma center at Frankfurt Airport. The facility significantly expands the company's capacity, quadrupling its space dedicated to handling temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. Spanning nearly 1,500 square meters, the center features two large temperature-controlled areas for +2 to +8°C and +15 to +25°C ranges, along with a deep-freeze room. Direct access to the airport's apron allows for rapid and secure transfer of goods to and from aircraft. This investment strengthens Frankfurt's position as a leading European hub for vital pharmaceutical logistics.
