Formula 1 Partners with DHL for Sustainable Logistics to Reduce Carbon Emissions
Formula 1 is enhancing its sustainability efforts by partnering with logistics giant DHL to reduce its carbon footprint. For the European leg of the 2023 season, the organization is utilizing a fleet of 18 trucks powered by HVO100 biofuel, which is projected to cut carbon emissions by at least 60%. To further these goals in air freight, F1 is using modern Boeing 777 freighters, known for their fuel efficiency. This initiative is a key part of Formula 1's broader strategy to achieve Net Zero status by 2030.
