Flybe Rescue Efforts Fail as Administrators Confirm Airline Shutdown
Administrators have officially confirmed that the collapsed UK regional airline, Flybe, will not be rescued. Efforts to find a buyer for the carrier, which ceased trading in January 2023, have been unsuccessful. This marks the second and final time the airline has failed, following a brief relaunch after its initial collapse in 2020. The joint administrators from Interpath Advisory stated that no viable offers were made to restart the business. Consequently, Flybe's remaining business and assets will now be wound down.
