Flight Instructor Killed in Brazil Training Crash, Teen Student Survives
A fatal training flight accident has occurred in Brazil, resulting in the death of a flight instructor. The small Cessna 152 aircraft crashed into a utility pole shortly after departing from an aeroclub in Luziânia. The instructor, Douglas de Resende, was killed on impact. His 17-year-old student pilot survived the crash and was found conscious inside the wreckage by first responders before being taken for medical treatment.
