Finnair Selects Embraer E195-E2 for Fleet Renewal with Order for up to 46 Aircraft
Finnair has announced its selection of the Embraer E195-E2 to modernize its regional fleet. The airline has signed a letter of intent for a total of 46 aircraft, which includes a firm order for 20 jets to be leased from Azorra. This significant deal also contains options for 10 additional aircraft and purchase rights for another 16. These new, more efficient jets are set to replace Finnair's current fleet of ATR and Embraer E190 aircraft operated by its regional partner, Norra. Deliveries of the new E195-E2s are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
