Finnair Places Order for Up to 46 Embraer E195-E2s to Modernize Fleet

Finnair has announced a significant fleet renewal plan with an order for up to 46 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft for its regional subsidiary, Norra. The deal consists of 20 firm orders and purchase rights for an additional 26 jets. These new aircraft are slated to replace the airline's current, aging fleet of 12 Embraer E190s. The E195-E2 offers considerable improvements in fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and a reduced noise footprint, supporting Finnair's sustainability goals. Deliveries of the new aircraft are expected to commence in 2026.
