FAA Revokes Starflite Aviation's Certificate Over Unauthorized Charter Flights
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revoked the air carrier certificate of Starflite Aviation, a Manvel, Texas-based company. The agency alleges the charter operator conducted at least 26 unauthorized flights between May 2022 and March 2023. According to the FAA, these operations were performed using aircraft and pilots not listed on the company's certificate. The investigation also revealed that some pilots had not completed the required training and competency checks. Starflite Aviation surrendered its certificate on March 29, 2024.
