FAA Report Details 2015 Fatal Beechcraft Disappearance Over Gulf of Mexico

An FAA preliminary report details an incident involving a Beech A36 aircraft that occurred on May 26, 2015. The aircraft departed from Tampico, Mexico, and was en route to New Orleans Lakefront Airport. According to Air Traffic Control, the plane was last seen on radar while flying over the Gulf of Mexico. The aircraft was subsequently reported as overdue. The incident involving the single-engine Beechcraft was classified as fatal.
