FAA Program Aims to Accelerate Advanced Air Mobility from Demonstrations to Operations
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has launched its Early Implementation and Partnership Program (EIPP) to help the advanced air mobility (AAM) industry transition from demonstrations to commercial operations. This initiative focuses on gathering crucial data and establishing operational procedures for eVTOL aircraft. The program aims to create a collaborative environment between the FAA and industry stakeholders to safely integrate these new aircraft into the national airspace. Key areas of focus include air traffic management, infrastructure requirements, and community engagement. Ultimately, the EIPP is a critical step in creating a clear pathway for AAM services, such as air taxis, to become a reality.
