FAA-Commissioned Report Finds Serious Flaws in Boeing's Safety Culture
An expert panel for the Federal Aviation Administration has released a critical report on Boeing's safety culture. The review found a significant 'disconnect' between senior management and employees regarding safety protocols. Experts highlighted that complex and frequently changing procedures caused confusion among the workforce. The report also noted that some staff feared retaliation for reporting safety concerns. Boeing has been given 50 recommendations and six months to develop a plan to address these findings.
