Eve Air Mobility Completes Key eVTOL Transition Flight Test Campaign
Eve Air Mobility, an Embraer subsidiary, has successfully completed the first flight test campaign for its full-scale, uncrewed eVTOL technology demonstrator. The tests, conducted in Brazil, included ground evaluations, hover flights, and partial transition flights. During the campaign, the aircraft achieved a speed of 80 knots, validating its flight control laws and aerodynamic models. This milestone is a critical step in the development of Eve's 'lift-plus-cruise' aircraft configuration. The company will now analyze the data and prepare for the next phase: achieving a full transition to wing-borne flight, keeping it on track for a 2026 service entry.
