Envoy Air Flight Diverts After Pilot Suffers Medical Emergency

An Envoy Air flight from Chicago to Columbus made an emergency landing in Dayton, Ohio, after the crew reported a potential pilot incapacitation. The flight, operating as American Eagle flight 3556, declared an emergency mid-flight. The Embraer E175 aircraft, with 76 passengers and four crew members, landed safely at Dayton International Airport. Paramedics met the aircraft upon arrival and transported the affected pilot to a local hospital. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the incident.
