Emirates SkyCargo Deploys First Converted 777-300ER Freighter
Emirates SkyCargo has officially launched its first converted Boeing 777-300ER freighter into service. This aircraft is the first of ten passenger planes being repurposed as part of a major fleet expansion and renewal program. The conversion project, a collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), significantly increases cargo capacity. These newly converted freighters will support the airline's network until new-build A350F and 777-8F aircraft arrive later in the decade. This strategy allows Emirates to maintain and grow its global cargo operations effectively.
