Embraer Rolls Out First E190F Passenger-to-Freighter Conversion
Embraer has successfully rolled out its first E190F, a passenger aircraft converted for cargo operations. The aircraft is part of the company's new E-Jets P2F (Passenger to Freighter) program. This first unit, destined for the launch customer Regional One, has undergone extensive modifications, including the installation of a main deck front cargo door and a reinforced floor. The conversion also features a cargo handling system and a new smoke detection system. The aircraft will now proceed to ground and flight testing before entering service.
