Elon Musk Criticizes Delta Air Lines for Choosing Competitor's In-Flight Wi-Fi Over Starlink

Delta Air Lines has announced a partnership with Airbus to equip its new A321neo aircraft with a high-speed Wi-Fi solution powered by Viasat. The new system, known as HBCplus, will be installed directly on the production line. This decision represents a significant snub to SpaceX's Starlink, which is also competing for in-flight connectivity contracts. In response to the news, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk commented on X, stating that Delta's internet would be "much better if they used Starlink." Musk also highlighted that the Starlink service is offered free of charge to passengers on airlines that have adopted it, such as Hawaiian Airlines and Qatar Airways.
