Eight Killed as Military C-17 Cargo Plane Crashes in Alaska
Eight people have been killed following the crash of a military cargo plane at an Air Force base in Anchorage, Alaska. The aircraft, a C-17 Globemaster III, went down at Elmendorf Air Force Base. The crew was reportedly practicing for an upcoming weekend air show, known as Arctic Thunder. The plane, which belonged to the 3rd Wing stationed at the base, crashed and burned upon impact. Military officials have confirmed the eight fatalities from the incident.
