EHang Secures World's First Production Certificate for EH216-S eVTOL, Paving Way for Mass Production
EHang has achieved a major industry milestone by obtaining the Production Certificate (PC) for its EH216-S passenger-carrying pilotless eVTOL aircraft. Issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), this is the world's first PC ever granted in the global eVTOL sector. The certificate validates EHang's comprehensive quality management system, covering everything from raw materials and manufacturing to after-sales service. This approval is the final major step required before the company can begin mass production of its aircraft. The certification positions EHang to scale up its operations for the commercial launch of its air taxi services.
