Dubai and Oman Launch Sea-to-Air Logistics Corridor to Counter Red Sea Disruptions
In response to ongoing shipping disruptions in the Red Sea, a new sea-to-air "green corridor" has been established between Dubai and Oman. The initiative connects Dubai's Jebel Ali Port with airports in Salalah, Sohar, and Muscat, creating a resilient logistics alternative. This corridor allows for the rapid transfer of cargo from sea vessels to aircraft in as little as three hours, bypassing the high-risk Bab al-Mandab Strait. The collaboration involves major players like DP World and Emirates SkyCargo. It aims to secure supply chains and reinforce the UAE and Oman's position as a critical global trade hub.
