Douglas Municipal Airport Secures $1.5 Million Grant for Fuel Farm Upgrade
The Douglas Municipal Airport has received a significant $1.5 million grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation. The funds are designated for the construction of a new, modern fuel farm. This project includes a 20,000-gallon Jet-A farm and a 12,000-gallon Avgas farm. These new facilities will replace the airport's current underground single-wall tanks. The upgrade is part of the Airport Capital Improvement Program, with the new fuel farm expected to be operational in Fall 2024.
