DJI Enters eVTOL Market With New FlyCart 30 Cargo Drone
Global drone manufacturer DJI has officially entered the industrial cargo drone market with the launch of its FlyCart 30. This new aircraft is a fixed-wing electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) platform designed for complex delivery missions. The FlyCart 30 is capable of carrying a payload of 30 kg over 16 km, with options for a winch or a cargo container. The drone is equipped with advanced obstacle avoidance systems and is built to operate in various weather conditions. DJI's entry into this segment is significant, leveraging its vast manufacturing scale to compete with existing cargo drone companies.
