Diehl Aviation Launches A320 Family Overhead Bin Retrofit with SWISS as Inaugural Customer
Diehl Aviation has officially launched a new overhead bin retrofit program for the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has been announced as the launch partner for this cabin upgrade. The new bins, known as the 'Airbus A320 Family XL Bin', provide significantly more storage capacity for carry-on luggage. This allows passengers to store standard trolley bags vertically, aiming to speed up the boarding process. The retrofit program will be implemented across the SWISS A320ceo and A321ceo fleet, enhancing the passenger experience on existing aircraft.
