DHL Express Secures 10-Year Sustainable Aviation Fuel Deal with SAF One Bahrain
DHL Express has signed a significant 10-year strategic partnership with SAF One, a new sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer based in Bahrain. Under the agreement, which begins in 2027, SAF One will supply DHL with over 150 million liters of SAF. This deal is a crucial step towards DHL's goal of using 30% SAF for all air transport by 2030. The partnership also supports DHL's GoGreen Plus service, which allows customers to reduce their carbon emissions through insetting. This long-term commitment underscores DHL's strategy to decarbonize its logistics network and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
