DHL Express Expands Global Portfolio with New Sustainable Shipping Service
DHL Express has launched a new service called GoGreen Plus, aimed at reducing carbon emissions in e-commerce. This service allows customers to cut the carbon footprint of their shipments through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The GoGreen Plus option is integrated directly into the checkout process for online retailers. Initially, the service is available for shipments originating from Europe to destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Middle East, and Africa. This initiative is part of DHL Group's broader strategy to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
