Delta Flight Diverts as Disabled Private Jet Blocks Albuquerque Runway
A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles was forced to divert to Albuquerque International Sunport. The cause was a disabled Cessna Citation private jet occupying the airport's primary runway. The smaller aircraft suffered a nose gear collapse upon landing, making it immobile and leading to the runway's closure. The Delta Airbus A321neo waited on the ground for several hours. The flight eventually continued to its destination after the runway was cleared.
